Today is this blog's first birthday! I can’t believe it’s been a year. It certainly has been an interesting journey, the collaborative aspects of blogging are certainly greater than I expected.

You’ll see that I’m certainly not an A-lister, my analytics numbers are not that high, but I’m confident I reach the people that matter. Though, a couple of blogger friends of mine say it is high for a blog which has only been around for a year with only 179 posts.
More and more frequently, I am getting calls from Journalists. Requesting for me to appear on TV shows to documentaries. I have also had a call from a freelance journalist, wanting to do a piece on ‘Cameron’s Young Tories’! More importantly, the blog enables me to meet and speak to Party colleagues. At Party conference it’s always nice to have fellow activists come up to you and say ‘I read your blog’.
In the New Year, Blog readers will see some changes. They will all be outlined next week!
