The Joys Of Socialism:
Britain has dropped to 25th place on a list of the best places in the world to live – behind countries like the Czech Republic, Andorra and Lithuania. The 2009 Quality of Life Index published by International Living Magazine reveals. The full table is here.
While France tops the poll for the fifth year in row, the UK is associated with a dismal climate, increase welfare dependency, soaring crime rate and cost of living, congested roads and equally overcrowded cities.
Even former Communist countries where unemployment is still rife are considered better places to live.
Our overtly broken society needs fixing urgently. We must put the Great back into Great Britain. We will only achieve that aim, with more Members of Parliament such as Philip Davies and Andrew Rosindell.

The UK is probably so low because people here complain all the time and have stupid expectations so we do badly in surveys of Quality of Life. Eastern Europe is more optimistic after many countries were freed from the USSR and are now improving with the help of the likes of the EU.
